A limited number of travel and accommodations subventions are available to cluster participants and affiliated students attending EMiC summer institutes, workshops, and conferences.

Applicants should submit via email an electronic copy of their travel booking and should indicate the number of days of accommodation for which they are requesting support. A maximum amount will be set for each subvention depending on funds available and the number of requests received.

For DEMiC and TEMiC accommodations will be arranged and paid for directly by EMiC. A staff member will contact participants concerning the options available.

For the University of Toronto Conference on Editorial Problems there will be a daily allowance for accommodations, the exact amount to be determined, based on the number of applications.

The deadline for subvention applications for the 2010 TEMiC and DEMiC institutes is March 15, 2010. You will be informed of the result of your application by March 22, 2010. Late applications will be considered if there are funds remaining after the initial subventions have been made.

Application instructions and deadlines for subventions in support of travel for 2011-15 will be posted in the relevant years.
