DATES
DEMiC will take place June 3rd–8th, 2012. The actual DHSI courses will begin on Monday, June 4th, but on the Sunday evening DEMiC will open with an orientation session which will allow summer-institute participants to meet each other and to hear about EMiC’s various editorial, training, and networking initiatives. Participants should plan to arrive in Victoria in time for this early evening session.

DIGITAL TEXTUAL STUDIES CONFERENCE
DHSI will be immediately followed by a conference on digital textual studies, led by the Textual Studies group of the Implementing New Knowledge Environments (INKE) project, and sharing the Friday DHSI Institute lecture. More details will be available early in the Fall term. The conference will run from 9-10 June. Any DEMiC participants interested in attending the conference (whether presenting or not) should indicate so on the registration form and adjust travel and accommodations dates accordingly. EMiC will cover the extra accommodations costs for any participants who wish to stay on for the conference.

Application Deadline: Friday, October 14th, 2011
