EMiC will be offering only one of its annual summer institutes in 2012: Digital Editing & Modernism in Canada (DEMiC) at the Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI) at the University of Victoria. Our Textual Editing & Modernism in Canada (TEMiC) summer institute has been put on hiatus for 2012. The aim of our summer institutes is to ensure that the best practices of textual and digital editing are brought to the community of scholars affiliated with EMiC. Both DEMiC and TEMiC are highly recommended to anyone with an interest in digital humanities, editing, and modernism in Canada.
EMiC summer institutes are intended for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and faculty at partner institutions with a background in Canadian and modernist literatures and/or textual editing. If you have questions about whether your background is appropriate, please contact Zailig Pollock.
